Georg Donatus,  Grand Duke of Hesse ( 8 November 1906 – 16 November 1937) was the first child of Ernest Louis, Grand Duke of Hesse, and his second wife, Princess Eleonore of Solms-Hohensolms-Lich.
Princess Cecilie of Greece and Denmark ( 22 June 1911 – 16 November 1937) was by birth a Greek and Danish princess.

Children of Crown Duke Georg Donatus and Princess Cecilia:

Ludwig Ernst Andrei (October 31, 1931 - November 16, 1937) - died in a plane crash;
Alexander Georg Karl Heinrich (April 14, 1933 - November 16, 1937) - died in a plane crash;
Johanna Marina Eleonora (20 September 1936 - 14 June 1939) - died of meningitis;
Stillborn boy (November 16, 1937) - his body was found among the wreckage of the plane.
